Cobra Air X Golf Irons - Steel
Cobra has created the Air-X golf irons that provide golfers with incredible distance that can be generated with ease that fly straighter consistently in a set of super game improvement irons that are also known as the lightest golf club Cobra has ever created.
When compared to the F-Max Airspeed irons, the Air-X irons have been made 8 grames lighter thanks to the decision by Cobra to focus on a lightweight construction. By reducing the weight by that much these irons are able to generate much more speed on golf swings effortlessly as well as lead to shots that fly further down the fairway and closer to the greens.
To capitalise on the lightweight design, a new faster face has been used in the Air-X irons to allow golfers to create much more ball speed and hit the golf ball a greater distance, even on shots that don’t make contact with the centre of the clubface. The face that has been used on this iron also uses a variable thickness design that has been made thinner in the heel and toe areas to make sure that shots that are hit off-centre only lose minimal speed.
With the lightweight design that has created plenty of swing speed and ball speed, Cobra wanted to ensure that golfers also had a set of irons that paired the shot speed with more accurate and straighter shots consistently. This performance was achieved by using a cavity back design that uses weaker lofts which helps to launch the golf ball with ease, while an offset hosel was also used to make sure that the ball was launched in a straighter trajectory.
The Cobra Air-X irons come with Steel shafts, however, there are also available with Graphite shafts here.
