At the heart of the design is Mizuno's advanced 4335 Nickel Chromoly, a material that is 35% stronger than previous generations. This added strength allows for a clubface that is 8% thinner, helping to generate faster ball speeds compared to earlier models such as the JPX 921 range.
The thinner, stronger face maximises energy transfer at impact, making it easier to produce high ball speeds across the face. Mizuno has also introduced a V-Chassis structure, enhancing vibration patterns to deliver a more solid and responsive feel without compromising performance.
An 18% wider high-energy area ensures more consistent ball speeds, even on off-centre strikes. This expanded sweet spot helps maintain distance and performance across the entire face.
To complement the increased speed, a seamless cup face construction positions the centre of gravity lower and deeper within the head. This promotes a higher launch and a steeper, more controllable descent angle, allowing shots to land softer and stop quicker on the greens.
